Material
- 1.6 m crêpe, viscose, linen or gabardine
- 0.2 m light-weight lining fabric (Bemberg, satin, polyester lining, cotton voile, linen…)
- 0.2 m all-purpose fusible interfacing
- All-purpose thread
- Universal or Microtex needle
PLEASE NOTE! Fabric requirements are based on a width of 150 cm (59″). If your fabric is narrower, you may need more fabric!

Construction Order
The following points break down all the step you need to complete this project. However, please note that they only cover the basics!
Reminder that seam allowances are 1 cm wide, unless stated otherwise.
- Fuse the welt and neck facings (front and back).
- Sew the welt pockets on both front panels (see markings). The large welt should be attached to the pocket lining.
- Sew the shoulders.
- Sew the facings at the shoulders and attach to the garment. You can sew the outer edges of the facing to the garment to keep in place.
- Attach the sleeves to the armholes.
- Sew the side and underarm seams.
- Hem the bottom of the dress and sleeves (turn once 3 cm).
- Make the belt.
